Develop
Your development begins on your first day. 90 days later, you’ve completed an on-boarding program that’s an even mix of industry/company knowledge and role-specific training. The program is required for all new Avant team members, all experience levels, all professional disciplines. And it’s just the beginning. Focused and formal development is integrated into every Avant career path. All senior leadership roles include course work through Harvard ManageMentor Plus, the Harvard Business School Publishing eLearning portal. A deep selection of courses is available to all, and mentor relationships—both formal and informal—guide your professional development.
Collaborate
Shared ownership is a central principle in how we work with our clients and how we work within our organization. Work groups are typically high-performing cross-functional teams, and project managers are expected to coach and motivate as well as lead. What’s more, recognition and advancement reflect exceptional team contributions ahead of individual achievement.
Serve
Servant leadership is a living idea within Avant. It compels us to go beyond dollar donations to truly engage with organizations as volunteers and board members … as creative and knowledge resources … as citizens with a stake in the health of our community.
